This is how you find our hotel in Ridanna/Ridnaun

Our hotel in Ridanna/Ridnaun is located in the North of South Tyrol, in the Wipptal Valley. Here is how you get to our Experience Hotel Gassenhof.

Arrival by car

If you travel by car, you can reach our hotel in Ridanna/Ridnaun via the Brennero pass. Take the highway A13 and A22 leading to Valle Isarco/Eisacktal, starting right after Brennero/Brenner and drive towards Bolzano/Bozen. About 18 km after Brennero/Brenner, take the exit Vipiteno/Sterzing, then follow the signs to Ridanna/Ridnaun.

How to get there by bus and train

Our commune is member of the Alpine Pearls which is why we recommend you to arrive by train and bus. A carefree arrival is not only environmentally friendly and sustainable, but also highly relaxing. The train routes here in the Alps offer some truly memorable tracks, which will make of your train ride an unforgettable experience. South Tyrol is easily reachable by train from all over Europe. This allows you to start your holiday at the nearest train station!

The closest train station to our hotel in Ridanna/Ridanun is Vipiteno/Sterzing, about 12 km from Gassenhof. The town offers good bus connections to Ridanna/Ridnaun. The bus stop is located directly in front of our hotel. If you wish, we are happy to send you a bus itinerary and help you plan your trip. To easen your arrival, we could also simply pick you up at the train station! In this case, please let us know beforehand.

Arrival by bus

There are long-distance coaches from Germany, Austria or Switzerland driving to South Tyrol and back.

Arrival by plane

The closest airports are Innsbruck (ca. 60 km), Bolzano/Bozen (ca. 80 km), Verona (ca. 230 km) and Munich (ca. 260 km).
There are shuttle busses which go daily between the airports and South Tyrol.

Eco-friendly travel

Once you have arrived at our hotel, you do not need a car to be mobile. In winter, the ski bus takes you directly to the lift of Racines/Ratschings. Furthermore, there is a bus going regularly to Vipiteno/Sterzing.
In summer, we offer a hiking shuttle (7.00 euro per person) taking you to the starting point of your hike.
