Gourmet break at Gratznhäusl: Gassenhof’s gourmet retreat

Unique ambience – unique stay

A gourmet break of a special kind awaits you at Gratznhäusl, only 3 minutes’ walk from our hotel in Ridanna/Ridnaun. The first documented evidence of this wooden farmhouse with granary stems from the year 1375. We acquired a neglected farmhouse and made it into the ideal place for a gourmet break.

Once upon a time it was a barn. Today it is the rustic setting for a restaurant, serving the most exquisite South Tyrolean specialities. In our new smokehouse we cure delicious meats such as our famous South Tyrolean speck. At Gratznhäusl you can buy speck and other homemade products such as jams, juices, spirits and honey. If you wish, Manni will introduce you to the art of distillery or to the well-stacked wine cellar. Start looking forward to a gourmet break characterised by delicious moments in authentic setting!

Gratznhäusl, however, is not only a restaurant and quaint place to indulge in traditional South Tyrolean cuisine. Gratznhäusl also offers a unique set of rooms. On the upper floor, you find three new rooms furnished with natural wood and stone. In the granary you find one more room, extending over three floors. Each room offers an infrared cabin and three of the rooms an original wood stove for romantic evenings.

As our guest at Gratznhäusl, you are free to use the Gassenbadl Spa as well as all our other inclusive services.
