Do you love walking in the mountains as much as we do? Then welcome to Erlebnisort Gassenhof! We are a proud member of the Wanderhotels – best alpine consortium, which brings under one designation the best hiking hotels in South Tyrol and the Alps.
As we love sharing with guests our passion for the unique nature that surrounds us, we have been pooling our expertise and ideas with other Wanderhotels members since 1995 to develop a palette of services specifically designed for walkers, hikers and trekkers.

Located in the beautiful hiking region of Ridnaun, Erlebnisort Gassenhof is an excellent base for a walking holiday in the Alps. As our guest, you will have access to a range of dedicated services and benefits, including experienced hiking guides on hand to provide tips and help you with your planning, and guided hikes at all levels of difficulty to the most beautiful places in the area.

All Gassenhof guests are welcome to borrow hiking equipment such as hiking poles and rucksacks free of charge. Additionally, we offer transfer services for when the starting point of your hike cannot be reached on foot directly from the hotel.

The quality of our services has earned us a score of 5 out of 5 crystals, meaning that you can look forward to top-notch facilities, a varied offer of R & R opportunities, and at least five professionally organised hikes per week. From family hikes to summit climbs and other hikes guided by host Manni himself, we offer everything you need for a first-class hiking holiday!

A choice of unique saunas, comfortable relaxation rooms and the spectacular view from our infinity pool will help you feel refreshed and rejuvenated. At dinner, feel free to indulge with our creations – inspired by the South Tyrolean culinary tradition, and made from locally sourced products, they are as healthy as they are delicious.
