From June 2026, Gassenhof will be welcoming you in its new splendour. Everything guests love about Gassenhof will still be there, yet the experience will feel somehow new.
We won’t give away too much for now, but rest assured you can look forward to new spots to fall in love with, more space for indulgence and even more Gassenhof spirit. We are currently renovating the façade, fine-tuning the new suites and perfecting the culinary concept. There are lots of wonderful surprises in store – especially for families.
Orchestrating this upgrade is the Volgger family, of course! With their passion, creativity and humour, they keep making Gassenhof better and better – for you and for all our guests, present and future.
New Culinary Highlights

Our restaurant is now even more inviting, warmer, and simply more beautiful – a place where guests can arrive, feel at ease, and truly enjoy themselves.
Adding to the experience is our new buffet area with a live show-cooking station and coffee corner, as well as our new bar – the perfect setting for great conversations, fine drinks, and relaxed evenings.
And because Gassenhof stands for much more than excellent food alone, we are bringing our Mount Becher products even more prominently into the hotel experience. This way, enjoyment at Gassenhof is not only served on the plate – it becomes something guests can feel, see, and experience throughout their entire stay.
The New Family Water World
A water adventure for the whole family
Your family holiday at Gassenhof is all about water.
Our Gassenbadl area has evolved into a true family water world, delighting both young and old with a lazy river, children’s pool, outdoor pool, and cozy relaxation oases for the whole family. It’s no longer just a quick dip in the pool, but a real experience for little fish and mermaids of all ages.
And because we really have thought of everything, you can also look forward to a family sauna twice a week, as well as play areas for your little and big explorers.

New suites

At the main Gassenhof building, two brand-new suites await you: Gentian and Malum.
Both embody everything that defines Gassenhof: style, comfort, and a touch of exclusivity. Their standout feature? A private Jacuzzi on the balcony, creating the perfect setting for moments of pure relaxation.
But that’s not all. The Pyrus category also impresses with a private Jacuzzi on the balcony and a panoramic sauna with stunning views. At the same time, our Sambucus rooms have been refreshed and now shine in a completely new look.

The Highlight for the Gassenloge
The New Event Sauna
We also expanded the offerings in the Gassenloge, our adults-only wellness area, by creating a special new highlight: the Event Sauna.
This gave our signature sauna infusion experiences a new setting – atmospheric, immersive, and simply unforgettable.
The result is even more space for soothing warmth, unique infusion rituals, and relaxing moments reserved exclusively for adults.

The main building presents itself with a new façade design – modern and Alpine at the same time, inspired by the Gassenloge. Plenty of wood, great attention to detail, and very much in true Gassenhof style.
The result is a harmonious overall look that combines tradition and modernity. And yes, there is also quite a bit happening inside…
But for now, that’s all we’ll reveal: we stay true to ourselves. Genuine, warm, relaxed, and authentic.
