That is exactly what the Gassenloge at Erlebnisort Gassenhof in Ridnaun is all about. It is not only the best spot in the valley, but also our adults-only wellness area for guests aged 16 and over. It is a favourite place for couples, friends and anyone looking to enjoy a little peace and quiet.

One of the main highlights is the event sauna, where show infusion rituals take place against the backdrop of sweeping panoramic views. In addition, guests can enjoy a 20-metre infinity outdoor pool, an outdoor-hot-whirlpool, a tree sauna, a steam bath and panoramic relaxation rooms – as well as the Logengarden in summer.

And families? They have a place of their own for splashing, sauna time and relaxing: the family water world in the Gassenbadl.

In the Gassenloge's 20 metre infinity outdoor pool, you can swim lengths with panoramic views over the Ridnaun Valley and the surrounding South Tyrolean mountains. It feels especially good after a hike, a day on the slopes – or simply whenever the moment feels right.

Just next door, the outdoor-hot-whirlpool awaits. Step into the warm water, lean back and watch the light, clouds and mountains change. Relaxation really can be that simple!

The Sauna world in the Gassenloge

New event sauna with show infusion rituals

Sauna has always been part of the Gassenhof experience. Since summer 2026, however, we have given it a completely new setting.

In the new event sauna in the Gassenloge, our show infusion rituals take place with one of the best views of the valley and the surrounding mountains. Heat, fragrances, music and the expertise of our Aufguss masters turn it from a simple sauna session into one of those Gassenhof moments you'll still be talking about long afterwards.

And because even relaxation never gets boring in a place of experiences like ours, we have two more highlights for you: try the tree sauna or the steam bath. Work up a sweat, breathe deeply, cool down - and then do it all over again.

A sauna experience you probably won't find anywhere else? The Distiller's sauna.

Here, the formula is simple: take a seat, enjoy the panoramic views, work up a sweat and savour the experience. The spectacular infusion ritual takes place in our wellness hotel in Ridnaun and concludes with the much-coveted final drink. As the name suggests, guests may occasionally get to enjoy a schnapps - naturally distilled in our own distillery at the Mount Becher Genusshaus.

Sauna with the pros: Meet our Aufguss masters

At our spa hotel in Ridnaun, we take sauna very seriously. Take part in the infusions offered by our expert Aufguss masters in the Gassenbadl saunas and in the Finnish sauna of the Logen Spa. Not only have they mastered the technique of sauna infusions – they also have extensive knowledge of the local herbs and their health-promoting properties. As certified Aufguss masters, they are there to take your sauna experience to the next level.

Wellness can mean, first of all, putting yourself in experienced hands and then simply not having to do anything at all.

Our Logen Spa is located right inside the Gassenloge. Spa manager Martina and her team will pamper you with massages and other wellness treatments. Tired muscles are loosened up, your mind clears, and a spare hour turns into a lovely break.

Afterwards, there’s time to wind down in the relaxation rooms. And when the sun is shining outside, the Logengarden is the perfect place to relax and breathe in the mountain air.

Since summer 2026, the new event sauna has been one of the highlights of the Gassenloge. This is where Gassenhof's show infusion rituals take place. At the same time, the Gassenloge is now clearly positioned as the hotel's adults-only wellness area.

WHICH SAUNAS ARE THERE IN THE GASSENLOGE AT ERLEBNISORT GASSENHOF?

The adults-only area includes an event sauna, a tree sauna and a steam bath. The Gassenbadl offers additional sauna options, including the special Distiller's sauna and a non-nudist sauna in the Gassenbadl family water world.

WHO IS THE GASSENLOGE IDEAL FOR?

The Gassenloge is ideal for couples, friends, wellness enthusiasts and food lovers looking for peace and quiet, panoramic views, sauna experiences and time to themselves. Thanks to the separately managed family area in the Gassenbadl, the Gassenloge remains a dedicated retreat for adults.

IS THERE A SEPARATE WELLNESS AREA FOR FAMILIES?

Yes. Families can enjoy the Gassenbadl, the family water world at Erlebnisort Gassenhof. It includes an indoor pool, a 36°C outdoor pool, a lazy river, a paddling pool and a family sauna.

IS THE ADULTS-ONLY WELLNESS AREA A NUDE ZONE?

Yes. The entire sauna area in the Gassenloge is a nude zone. There is a non-nudist sauna in the Gassenbadl, the family water and sauna world.
