Easy hikes in Ridanna-South Tyrol

Take a stroll with the whole family

There are many easy hikes in Ridanna/Ridnaun for your hiking holiday in South Tyrol. Here is our tip for a hike for the entire family. Start in Stanghe/Stange, approximately ten minutes by car from our hotel in Ridanna/Ridnaun. Follow the signs towards Mareta/Mareit and the marking 4A. A lush wide foot walk (marking no. 9) leads you across the woods until you reach the Wolfsthurn Castle near Mareta/Mareit; here you can visit a small hunting museum. From the castle you can reach a pond and a venison retreat. Continue on the nature experience trail, leading partly across the forest and partly along the river back to Mareta/Mareit. In Stanghe/Stange you will find yourself again on trail no. 9 and later on trail no. 4A. This easy hike in Ridanna/Ridnaun takes about three hours.
